Job Description : Financial Manager - East Africa Department: Finance Reporting to: Managing Director and Operations Manager Required qualifications and experience: B Com / Mcom in accounting with 10 years in finance and 3-5 years experience in property management and rental agreements. Key responsibilities: Desired skills and competencies: must have advanced Excel skills, very competent administrator, and deadline orientated. Good people skills and very comfortable with dealing with senior people requiring high levels of confidentiality. Position Summary: The Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the property management and property development companies. This role involves managing rent collection, rental agreements, default client management, repair agents, supplier administration, financial reporting, and ensuring proper accounting for capital expenditures. The Financial Manager will also oversee the administrative aspects of property sites and ensure timely payment of creditors. Payroll functions are outsourced to a third-party provider. Presentations of new planned syndicated property developments to potential investors, including hosting presentation events to potential clients.
