Job Description : Head R&D - Soap MNC - South East Asia Needs to be an Expert in the field of Oil Base Saponification for Soap Noodles, Toilet Soap Bars & Laundry Bar Manufacturing, Process & Packaging requirements. Firm Knowledge of Processes & Parameters is very important for both Saponification & Soaps Finishing Lines. 1. To communicate and coordinate with PIL Marketing & customers for new product development 2. To arrange all necessary development activities and cooperate with all related department in the company 3. To lead & supervise R&D team in conducting development activity for effective working. 4. To prepare the report to the management including preparing formulation and specification of new product 5. To develop word class quality, cost efficient & market grabbing soap formulations. 6. To give solutions for formulation relating issues for efficiency. 7. To always be in touch with perfumery houses & other RM / PM suppliers to stay update on the new market trends & taking out trials proactively to develop such samples that are word class quality, cost efficient, and good market grabbing attributes. 8. To coordinate with customer for packaging & printing development. 9. To work with all packaging suppliers for new packaging developments on time always. 10. To ensure the attractive, durable & cost effective packaging development in line & coordination with PIL Marketing. 11. To assist management & purchase with alternate good quality but cost efficient raw materials / packing materials. 12. To help finance manager with cost efficient good quality formulation. And help him / her for any costing, if need be. 13. To develop Packaging in such a way that it’s Efficient in Container Load ability for Optimum Transportation costs. 14. To ensure the Best Container Loading patterns to optimize the transportation cost. 15. To work in close coordination with Cross Functional to achieve Best Results. 16. To work for Lab Results to evaluate the Market Samples & Company Retain Samples for Comparison. 17. Must be able to develop the Good World Class Soap Formulation by Evaluating the Results by Lab Evaluations, Usage Evaluations, and Sample Surveys etc. 18. To bring in new cost effective innovations.
