Job Description : DIRECTOR OF ENERGY OPERATIONS SPAIN An important Spanish company that is very powerful in the Renewables sector needs to incorporate an Operations Manager into its Madrid offices, who will have a fundamental role in managing the organization's daily and strategic operations. responsibilities • Development of effective operational strategies to ensure that the company meets its business objectives. This involves collaborating with other members of the management team to set clear goals and objectives and design action plans to achieve them. • Supply Chain Management: Monitor and optimize all aspects of the supply chain to ensure an efficient flow of products and services. • Production and operations management: Plan, coordinate and supervise the activities related to the generation of renewable energy, the operation and maintenance of the facilities, and the management of the necessary human and technical resources. • Continuous improvement and optimization: Search for opportunities to improve the company's operating efficiency, analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, implementing changes and measuring results. • Quality and safety management: The COO must establish and enforce quality control and safety policies and procedures, as well as ensure compliance with relevant rules and regulations. • Talent management: recruit and hire qualified personnel, establish training and development plans, foster a collaborative and motivating work environment, and promote the retention of key talent. essential requirements • Experience of more than 15 years in supervision and control of commercial and industrial photovoltaic self-consumption projects> 500 kW • Extensive negotiation capacity with subcontractors and suppliers on this type of facility. • Capacity for technical analysis of the installation with knowledge of photovoltaic technology, mounting systems, Low and Medium Voltage electrical installations and HSE procedures for this type of installation. • High capacity for coordination, transmission and relationship with Clients in the construction stage of the projects. • Knowledge of self-consumption, technical regulations, administrative and legalization processes for this type of facility.
