General Manager 

Job Description : General Manager OMAN Reporting To: Board of Directors Location: Duqm Nationality: Open About the Company: The Company is a joint-stock company established in the Wilayat of Duqm by the residents of Wilayat of Duqm. Intent of the established is to be a part of the economic growth envisaged by the mega investments in Duqm Economic Zone by providing various services to investors and companies that are establishing or established. Also, provides services in logistics and Ship repair & Maintenance currently with aim to diversify into various others services that are needed for companies that are being established in Duqm Economic Zone. Job Purpose: Job purpose of the General manager is to oversee daily business activities, improving overall business functions, managing budgets, developing strategic plans, creating new business opportunities, creating policies, and communicating business goals. Roles & Responsibilities / Key Accountabilities: Business development Extensive management & technical knowledge on Project planning & execution Leadership, resource planning & mobilization Financial management specifically focused on tendering, cost control and savings. Should be expert in estimating project budgets & negotiations, detailed design, contract preparation and understanding contractual obligations in projects. Strong ethics, full respect for hierarchies; motivated, mature. Evaluate risk associated with business opportunities and contractual obligations. Prompt correspondences for variations, claims, and secure company’s interest by proper contractual correspondences with Clients / Overall P&L (budgetary) understanding and responsibility. Accountability for the financial and operational performance. Explore avenues of expanding business. Skills/Competencies required: Strong Sales background, Strong influencing and negotiating skills. Excellent customer relationship. Excellent communication and presentation, managerial and organizational skills Experience in dealing with the board.
