Job Description : LOGISTICS BUSINESS UNIT DIRECTOR MIDLANDS, UK The Business Unit Director will take full operational, commercial and budgetary responsibility for the strategic management of one of the groups flagship contracts. The scope encompasses all contract deliveries and operations across the UK within the division. Leading the Transport and Distribution Centre Management Teams to ensure that all performance targets are achieved and exceeded. The Operations Director is to ensure that there is a seamless relationship between the warehouse and transport functions across all sites and ensures that a positive relationship with the customer is maintained, whilst driving continuous, sustainable growth. Significant senior leadership experience in managing Warehouse and Transport operations, within large scale and national operation Experience of developing relationships with unions at a leadership level You will be commercially astute and a customer focused professional A keen eye for operational excellence Proven experience in leading a business through growth This company is amongst the worlds largest logistics businesses and is still going through significant growth.
