Senior Engineer

Job Description : SENIOR AQ/QC ELECTRICAL ENGINEER FOR ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION PROJECT OMAN Degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum 10 years related experience; Shall have past experience of working for COMPANY Projects. Role & responsibilities · Liaise with the respective Construction Managers on all quality related activities of the project. · Review Inspection & Test records. · Compile and maintain pertinent records of inspection and test till the end of contract and transmit all pertinent records through the QA/QC Superintendent to the Quality Systems Unit, HO for retention on completion of project. · Review and verify all material certificates, vendor documents for correctness, legibility and completeness. · Prepare, implement and monitor the Contract Specific QA/QC Procedures, QC Plans and Work Instructions in association with the construction personnel, where required and forward them to the QA/QC Superintendent / QA/QC Manager for review and for arranging approval. · Direct the respective QC Inspectors to fulfill inspection and test requirements of the contract at all stages of process as per CQP, QCP and contract requirements. · Ensure maintenance of calibration records for Measuring & Monitoring Equipment used in the contract through the focal point(s) of Measuring & Monitoring Equipment and monitor the requirements fulfilled by the Subcontractors. · Monitor Subcontractors performance for compliance with quality requirements and Report to the QA/QC Superintendent / QA/QC Manager. · Coordinate with the QA/QC Superintendent / QA/QC Manager in the overall management of the Quality Management System in the respective areas. · Verify corrective and preventive actions taken on CARs / NCRs raised on the Contractor in the respective area and forward for further action & review of QA/QC Superintendent / QA / QC Manager. · Ensure Quality Records are maintained, as required by the Contractor’s Quality System and Company requirements.
