Production Engineer

Job Description : PRODUCTION ENGINEER EXTRUSION DUBAI · Plans and coordinates production engineering processes on daily basis to produce high quality products as per the plan. · Develops process improvements to effectively utilize equipment and materials to maximize production. · Develops operational strategies to achieve production and financial objectives. · Identifies unsafe operations and practices and reports the same to Manager immediately. · Establishes safety procedures and environmental regulations for employees. · Provides engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production. · Performs engineering analysis to reduce downtime and wastages · Evaluates current production activities and makes recommendations for improvements. · Implements cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards. · Develops work instructions and equipment specifications for production activities. · Provides training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals. · Stays current with product specifications, engineering technology and production processes. · Develops best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability. Preferred candidate profile · Graduate engineer with 12years in plastic pipe manufacturing industry. · Knowledge in plastic technology and manufacturing & quality tools. · Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques · Ability to handle labour force · Communication skills · Trouble shooting and problem-solving skills · ERP knowledge
