Job Description : PRESIDENT DIRECTOR INDONESIA An exciting President Director (Mining) job has just opened up at a multinational mining equipment manufacturer. The President Director (Mining) will be responsible for the full P&L of the business in Indonesia which includes the management of sales and marketing activities, manufacturing, business operations and to ensure the growth of the company. Establish and oversee development and execution of the market through branding strategies for the Indonesian segment Organise and direct marketing and sales initiatives, including pricing and contractual terms, in consultation with the top management Develop value propositions for customers, with a strong emphasis on “delivery to promise” outcomes, and deliver a timely response to customers in regards to issues, in consultation with the management Support the export growth strategy of the business by leveraging the facilities regional location and available capacity Manage and support customer relationships with industry players, building satisfaction and loyalty with clear accountabilities for sales personnel Assist in building and developing the sales team to oversee key tactical and strategic initiatives to drive year on budget and business plan outcomes for the next three years Identify and manage major products and service innovations that have a material impact on product and customer portfolios through the establishment of new business models Work with the technical team to develop new products and identify organic growth opportunities to meet market needs Handle operational management of major freight contracts Convert market strategies and business plans into specific business unit objectives Oversee the operational aspects of customer supply contracts with focus on converting key customers on to long-term agreements Manage inventory optimisation Focus on customer payment schedules to reduce overdue debtors Provide operational direction in the design of warehouse systems and practices for Indonesia Manage manufacturing and asset leadership responsibilities Manage operations in a manner that minimise risk to employee, customers and the environment Manage budgeting and forecasting Develop and maintain key government relations in relation to tax, import/export, employment, safety and other applicable business operations To be successful in this President Director (Mining) role, you will need to possess strong leadership traits and commercial acumen, with the drive to deliver results to bring exponential growth to the company. Relevant qualification - engineering, metallurgy, commercial, business management, etc. Great understanding of commodities market , metals, and metals products Extensive and demonstrated senior leadership experience within a sales and manufacturing business Ability to document and present key messages to a wide group of target audiences, including written reports Commercial acumen to drive financial focus and results Background in sales or commercial to drive value proposition Able to manage revenue-related activities within industrial markets, including working within integrated value chains/market channels Able to manage manufacturing operations with sound distribution/warehousing/logistics experience Strong understanding of manufacturing methodologies and improvement processes Experience in managing significant capital budgets Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver budgets and business plan outcomes Exposure to managing complex site assets across different geographical locations Ability to comprehend engineering and systems to improve business performance. Demonstrated leadership skills to influence a wide range of stakeholders including BU General Managers, Government Agencies, Customers, and Service Providers Ability to design systems and processes that create consistency, clarity and standardisation across geographical sites
