Procurement Head

Job Description : PROCUREMENT HEAD SOUTH AFRICA FOR PHARMA 18+ years experience one of the leading pharmaceutical companies, having presence in more than 60 countries. The incumbent will be responsible to lead Procurement function for direct inputs (API's, Excipients, Packaging & Indirects) required for all South Africa based facilities of the company. Job description: - Strategic sourcing activities for direct inputs encompassing all the stages of formulations' products viz new filings & Launches as well as AVD (De risking) for new launches for SA - Strategize & drive the strategic sourcing and commercial Procurement teams, globally across subcategories of APIs, Excipients and Packaging and Indirects to ensure supply chain KPIs of OTIF, COGS improvement, Quality & Compliance & unconstrained & uninterrupted supplies within the IP, Regulatory and Statutory framework across global markets. - End to end responsibility for Procurement direct inputs (API's, Excipients, Packaging & Indirects) required for all SA based formulation facilities of Company. This role and the team reporting to it manage complexities. ensuring end to end procurement for the entire region thereby making it extremely critical. We are keen to connect with professionals with the below mentioned skills sets and experience: - Bachelor's degree with an MBA in any operations/supply chain - Minimum 10-15 years of experience in leading end to end procurement (direct sourcing) preferably in a Pharma company - Able to manage and develop teams - Strong communication skills to effectively manage stakeholders.
