Job Description : ASSISTANANT ENGINEERING MANAGER RAK, UAE Role & responsibilities CAPEX · Leading, Supervision and monitoring of capital projects · Identification and feasibility study of new projects. (Capacity enhancement/capital projects) · Obtaining quotations, conducting negotiations, placing orders, and following up for supply. · Assistance to Unit Head in preliminary techno-commercial discussions and drawings approval. · Monitoring and controlling capex spending. Engineering · Annual Operating Plan & budgets of engg. Dept · Continuous improvement of engineering standards and asset care. · Best practice implementation in engineering and cross functions · Energy conservation &reduction of P&F cost · Implement profit improvement projects eg. Innovative solutions to Capacity improvement (De bottlenecking, indigenisation, OEE improvements etc) to lower total supply chain costs · Overall review and implementation of std. preventive maintenance program of units · Review of engg. dept. MIS reports. · Technical assistance in major breakdowns of plant machineries and troubleshooting. · Advance initiatives which promote and sustain the safety, health, and welfare of all personnel. · Provide leadership and direction to the maintenance team. · Provide direction, assistance, and resources necessary to inventory, organize and control critical spares. People Management · Recruit personnel as per HC budget · Responsible for personnel assessments /peoples review, target setting for the direct reports. · Identify people s development area(s) and implement.
