Production Manager

Job Description : PRODUCTION MANAGER VIETNAM An exciting Foam Production Manager job has arisen in a leading manufacturer in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam. Report to both COO, GM & Chemical Director, this position will manage the PU Foam production workshop including R&D, production, planning, maintenance, etc. Lead and manage the R&D team in developing new products and improving existing products for PU category Manage implementing product development strategies according to customer requirements and industry trends Cooperate closely to sales team to evaluate and develop new formulation to catch the business planning Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product launches to mass production Lead and manage demand forecast activities for chemicals, materials to ensure timely response to research and production needs Manage work related to material progress, production plan, production schedule, subcontractor's schedule to meet on-time delivery of goods, avoid customer complaints Build up and follow up the demand planning (capacity and material) to prepare for the next coming months especially for peak season Directing and controlling the production department's activities to achieve targets for quantity, quality, productivity and on time delivery with minimum production costs in order to satisfy customer requirements Monitor all production activities, solve tech issues relate to technical in production to minimise defect product. To manage all the operational activities relating to machine, equipment, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensure no production machine interruption Ensure all of employees implement 5S/Safety culture Directly manages the staff of the Foaming department and maintaining a culture of high performance to ensure the development of team members, also guarantee the proper training of employees Regularly evaluates employees and provides constructive feedback Managing continuous improvement activities and projects Manage and analyse weekly/monthly/yearly Foaming reports Some other jobs/ reports requested by manager In order to succeed in this role, strong technical background in PU Foam is required. University/or higher in Chemical Engineering (major in Polymer) 10 years experience in PU foam formulation, R&D Fluent in English Good Leadership skill Good management skill Problem solving with 8D process Good Computer Skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint Good communications Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards
