Job Description : PROCUREMENT DIRECTOR THAILAND An exciting Procurement Director (x1 vacancy) has just become available at an electronics manufacturer based in Bangkok. Reporting directly to Supply Chain Director, this is a role for a determined and seasoned procurement director with a solid raw materials and indirect procurement equipped with strong business acumen who thrives on challenging opportunity. In this business-critical role, you will play a vital role leading and driving team of procurement to meet department KPI including re-design and implement efficiency & effective site procurement procedure, system with adequate controls. This role offers a competitive remuneration package with allowance, fixed bonus, performance bonus with provident fund. Sourcing and negotiation for lowest possible cost & lead-time on equipment, spare parts, tooling and services to support business requirement Monitor and keep market, industry trends up to date Establish and develop supplier's relationship to assure satisfactory quality & services standards to meet company requirement Dive all cost saving activities with relevant trams to meet target Manage the procurement team to ensure compliance to corporate procurement polity and procedures Support internal/external audit activities To succeed in this role, you must have the ability to lead and unite effectively and possess a keen understanding of manufacturing operations in dynamic working environment. Bachelor's degree with Engineering background, MBA degree is a plus At least ten years' experience in procurement from electronics manufacturing, seven years working experience in managerial level Solid knowledge in facilities, logistics, supply chain process is an advantage Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to work on various initiatives Good command of Thai and English is a must due to the nature of its business Highly effective interpersonal communication and influencing skills
