Job Description : BUSINESS UNIT MANAGER FMCG/HEALTHCARE UAE Lead and manage the FMCG/Health Foods business unit taking ownership of the unit’s P&L and team management across the UAE. Develop budgets, forecasts and annual business plans (including long term strategic plans) and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and growth across brands and increase market share in the FMCG sector. Lead and manage the sales team and merchandisers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a high performing team. Identify new business opportunities and potential clients, while also maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. Establish solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable successful partnerships and develop organizational maps, joint business plans, etc across key accounts to grow key accounts. Own engagements with global vendors/partners including the development of sales/order forecasts, annual marketing plans, targets and deliverables pertaining to agreements. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify areas of opportunities, growth and improvement. Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales campaigns and promotional activities to boost product visibility and drive sales. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to the senior leadership team on a regular basis. Set sales targets for individual team members and monitor their performance, providing coaching and support when necessary. Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus. 15+years of experience in Sales & Marketing Management. Ability to lead and inspire sales teams, set clear goals, and provide guidance and support to achieve targets. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and market penetration. In-depth understanding of the FMCG industry, market trends, and consumer preferences to make informed business decisions. Strong networking and relationship-building skills to establish and maintain relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers. Proficiency in negotiating deals and contracts with clients and partners to secure favorable terms for the company. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Project management skills.
