Group Financial Accountant

Job Description : GROUP FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT UK Looking for Soth Asians eligible for UK working visa an industry leading retail business in their search for a Group Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. Headquartered in Manchester, our client is looking for a Newly Qualified accountant who enjoys the technical side of finance. The Group Financial Accountant would participate in the accounting and reporting activities for our client and its subsidiaries, as well as having responsibility for the external financial reporting requirements on behalf of the business. The role would see you providing oversight of a circa £200m PLC, building strong working relationships both internally and externally to ensure a smooth external audit at year end. Producing quality financial information for external statutory reporting including half year and year-end reporting Producing quality financial information for reporting to external stakeholders Assisting with the audit, ensuring key deliverables are provided within the agreed timescales Preparation of key accounting papers to support the Group’s accounting polices Keeping up to date with the latest financial reporting requirements, ensuring that the Group’s policies are compliant and up to date Leading and supporting projects on an ad-hoc basis as and when required Management of the Group’s corporation tax compliance Conducting analysis of annual reports Developing and delivering the review at booking level of sales, cash and costs such that it forms part of the monthly control process and supports year end Data Analytics work. Qualified Accountant – Excellent knowledge of financial reporting standards Excellent Excel and Microsoft office skills Strong relationship building/client management skills Experience of manipulating and breaking down large volumes of data Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to take ownership and manage workloads to tight deadlines
