Vice President Engineering

Job Description : VP ENGINEERING VIETNAM You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our engineering efforts, from product development and innovation to team management and process optimization. Define and execute engineering strategy aligned with company vision. Identify tech opportunities for growth and competitiveness. Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. Recruit, hire, and onboard top engineering talent, ensuring a diverse and skilled workforce. Set clear expectations for individual and team performance, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide professional development opportunities. Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of products and features. Manage engineering budgets, allocating resources effectively to support ongoing projects and new initiatives. Identify and mitigate potential resource bottlenecks, adapting plans as necessary to ensure successful project completion. To succeed in this role, you must have at least 3 years as VP of Engineering position. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced business degree is a plus. Proven track record of at least 15 years in progressively responsible engineering leadership roles, including experience managing large and diverse engineering teams. Strong technical background with expertise in software development methodologies, technologies, and architecture. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Strategic thinker with a track record of driving innovation and achieving business goals through engineering excellence. Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments is preferred. Ability to balance technical decisions with business objectives and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
