Job Description : GM THAILAND An exciting General Manager (x1 vacancy) role of a leading technology driven company to work at state-of-the-art manufacturing facility based in Chonburi has just become available with a great opportunity of growth. This position is for an accountable and constructive General Manager possessing sound decision making, robust operations experience, and outstanding commercial acumen to drive the company towards business and operations sustainability. This is a challenging opportunity for the General Manager to take full responsibility on site P&L and ensure smooth, efficient, and safe running of plant operations by overseeing all daily operations, streamlining logistics & supply chain activities, and developing & executing strategies to drive repeatable business with sustainable revenue. Oversee daily management of business & manufacturing operations to ensure effective resources allocation are provided and proper solutions are given, to achieve and sustain planned revenue, margin, and operations cost level Constantly assess operational efficiency and seek out opportunities to improve processes in an economic manner. Utilise lean manufacturing to evaluate, implement, and continuously improve production processes and procedures to drive work flow optimisation and improve financial performance Continuously develops the capability and capacity of the employees Contribute to the development of the corporate strategy, and the associated business plans to ensure successful implementation of corporate strategy Develop and create strategies and policies aligned with organisational goals To succeed in this role, you must have the ability to lead and unite effectively, possess a keen understanding of manufacturing operations and business acumen including a hands-on mentality. Bachelor’s degree or higher-level qualification in engineering, supply chain, logistics, or related field with MBA is a plus At least 15 years’ experience in dynamic manufacturing environment from leading manufacturing operations with additional 5 years’ experience in upper management level Ability to listen & integrate business needs with excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding negotiation and leadership capabilities.
