Job Description : CORPORATE STRATEGY HEAD THAILAND An exciting Head of Corporate Strategy (Housebrand)(x 1 vacancy) job has just become available at one of the food retail industry based in Bangkok. Reporting directly to CEO, this is a role for a marketer who is a leader in their field. As the Head of Corporate Strategy for House Brand, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic initiatives to enhance the growth and profitability of our company's in-house brand. You will be responsible for analysing market trends, conducting competitive analysis, and identifying opportunities to position our house brand as a leader in the industry. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive the development and implementation of innovative strategies to achieve business objectives and ensure the long-term success of our house brand. Strategic Planning: Develop and lead the corporate strategy for the house brand, aligning it with the overall company vision and goals. Formulate and communicate a clear roadmap that outlines key milestones, targets, and timelines Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends, customer preferences, and potential areas for growth and differentiation. Utilise data-driven insights to shape the brand's strategy Business Development: Explore and assess opportunities for expansion, partnerships, and strategic alliances that can bolster the market position of the house brand and drive revenue growth Brand Positioning: Collaborate with the marketing team to define and execute brand positioning strategies that reflect the brand's unique value proposition and resonate with target customers Product Portfolio Management: Oversee the development and management of the house brand's product portfolio, ensuring alignment with market demands and brand objectives Financial Analysis: Analyse financial data, performance metrics, and sales forecasts to make informed strategic decisions and optimise profitability for the house brand Innovation and New Initiatives: Drive innovation by identifying and evaluating new product categories, features, and services that align with the brand's mission and vision Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including marketing, sales, product development, and finance, to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of initiatives Performance Monitoring: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the success of strategic initiatives. Regularly report on progress and outcomes to senior management Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges in the market and develop contingency plans to mitigate their impact on the house brand's performance Leadership and Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing strategy team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus Proven experience in corporate strategy, brand management, or business development, preferably in the retail or consumer goods industry Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends to make informed decisions Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively convey strategic plans and insights to stakeholders Innovative mindset with a track record of introducing successful strategic initiatives Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer behaviour
