Project Director

Job Description : PROJECT DIRECTOR THAILAND An exciting Project Director (x 1 vacancy) job has just become available at one of the leading renewable energy producer company based in Bangkok, Thailand. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this is a role for a project management professionals who is expert and has end to end project management from construction, operations and maintenance activities for assets under company portfolio. In this business critical role, you will be responsible for the delivery, maintenance and enhancement of the current economic proposition of the organisation’s onshore wind and other renewable assets, direct and oversee all projects management and construction management. You will also manage tender and contract negotiation for operations and maintenance insurance, claims and insurance premium payment. The remuneration of this position is competitive with performance bonus, provident fund and health insurance. Maintain or enhance the economic proposition of company’s portfolio of onshore renewable assets by monitoring performance, minimising downtime and optimising maintenance activities Responsible for all investor, lender reporting and compliance with the non recourse financing teams Own compliance with health, safety, environment and quality policies and legislation for construction and operations & maintenance activities Establish and maintain key relationships both internally as well as externally with relevant third party contractors and service providers Collaborate with development and engineering and performance teams, ensure tender and contracting for construction is carried out within application guidelines Manage and execution of CSR plans and activities To succeed in the project director role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and cooperatively with stakeholders, across borders and internal matrix. Master's degree in engineering (licensed), or commercial related field At least ten years' working experience in project management, asset management capacity preferably in the energy industry Ability to build a strong team through empowerment and accountability Proven ability to work under pressure, able to drive the team, and ability to solve problems
