Job Description : HEAD OF FINANCIAL CONTROL TORONTO CANADA A private manufacturing & distributor of pharma and foods products across the globe, this business currently have a P&L of $144M and growing 25% yoy growth. With manufacturing facilities, production sites and packaging sites with full fleets of vehicles the group are looking for a strong finance operation controller to work with the VP finance and the CEO to drive the day-to-day operations and controls. A strong commercial finance leader is needed who can step up in their career. A profile who is either big 4 trained, who has worked with a multinational within finance and analyst and FPA roles and moved into a faster paced private LLC company. Manage preparation of Monthly/ Quarterly/ Annual reports, Comfi, WCR. Analysis of monthly results and presentation to management when required. Monthly analysis for projects/assets expenses, detailed KPIs and dashboards Ø Supervise approval and proper filing of entries made for JV transactions. Ensuring the correct accounting of all expenses, payroll and revenues in the books, Checks of SAP entries. Ø Manages all accounting operations including Billing, A/C and A/R, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition Ø Manages the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for accurate accounting of consolidated business results. Ø Manage preparation of Annual Budget and Closing forecast including the final presentation and the ad hoc analysis Ø Manage preparation of Long-Term Plan for the company (5 year/ 10 year) based on the guidelines received from HO. Ø Control treasury and cash needs for all payment requests (Opex and Capex) for all entities. Ø Coordination with different departments and stakeholders in order to obtain necessary information. Preparation LTP presentations for management and HO. Ø Ensure finalization and timely issue of annual Financial Statements (interim and final Audit execution) for all the companies of the perimeter. Ø Coordination with external auditors for all audit related work, reporting, preparation of Financial Statements. Ø Supervise monthly detailed analysis of all relevant Profit & Loss and Balance sheet accounts, reconciliations necessary for closing work. Ø Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls Ø Preparation and submission of Quarterly CAP consolidation Report on CAP Portal for all the legal entities under consolidation perimeter Ø Creation of Cost Centre and Profit Centre in SAP. Ø Ensure timely update of In-Country Value Certificate for all entities with local bodies. Ø Ensure timely submission of declaration related to local/ regional regulations whenever required. Ø Working on different projects within the team or with other teams Ø Other Ad-hoc works as delegated Ø Direct management of 1 employee (cost controller)
