Technical Project Manager

Job Description : 1) TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER AUCKLAND NEW ZEALAND An exciting, new contract opportunity for a seasoned Project Manager to join a fast-paced environment within the FMCG sector. This organisation is preparing to go through a domain name change which is currently in the discovery phase. We are looking for an experienced PM to come in and take this high- level work and continue to create a detailed plan for the transition and work with the project team to align expectations . This Project Manager will be technically inclined and ideally has prior experience with work of this nature. This is a 12-month contract to start ASAP. Key Responsibilities • Manage work flow end-to-end and execute through alignment to the target operating model. • Deliver outcomes utilising a fit-for-purpose delivery approach. • Working with various teams to update 60+ applications. • Remaining aware of potential issues and roadblocks and ensuring early communication of known or anticipated concerns. • Lead collaborative strategy and planning processes, prioritising the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the wider team and portfolio. • Managing dependencies and time lines across projects & BAU team to align with time lines. • Working efficiently with stakeholders and vendors. Key Requirements • Strong technical project delivery experience dealing with infrastructure and cloud engineers. • High technical understanding (O365, Active Directory, Single Sign-On, Domain transitions). • Excellent stakeholder management and vendor relationship experience. • Excellent leadership skills, communicating clear strategy and purpose. Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently; strong organisation skills. • Strong MS Project and Resource Planning experience. • Experience engaging with Global support teams e.g. SAP doc changes and SuccessFactors changes. • Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure. Ability to plan forward and manage deadlines.
