Job Description : 3) VP INDIA Head Global Portfolio & In-licensing Business development ( Senior Vice President cadre) Should be MBA / M Pharm /Ph.D. with 25+ years of diverse experience in Pharm Portfolio and Business Development. Hands- on experience in Gx Pharma Industry and Management Consulting, focusing on Portfolio strategy, Business Development, Cost Improvement, Market Insights, Opportunity Assessment and Strategic Sourcing Roles and Responsibilities: § Responsible for ideation and selection of key products on thorough business / financial and technical analytics. § To play critical role in expanding the Business of the Company by introducing lucrative products into the market with no or less competition and at the same time be cost effective. § To prepare & present Business case taking into consideration of market dynamics and strategy fitment which involves the use of myriad Business concepts to interpret market complexity. § To identify all products that are commercial, filed, to be filed and potential selection products across geographies. § To enable decision making process based on KOL insights, financial modelling, competition, pricing & access analytics § To be able to screen and identify new investment & business acquisition opportunities in line to organizational growth strategy § Work closely with Formulation Development, IP, Regulatory and Manufacturing, Sourcing and Cross- Functional Departments and provide direction and support in identifying strategic business opportunities & shared proposals or ideas. § Monitoring and enhancing portfolio performance through Stage-Gate Analysis, using IMS sales data, IP updates and internal project progress. Continuously optimizing/enhancing products portfolio considering the long & short-term commercial objectives of the organization. § Liaising with CFT heads in the product development value chain to keep abreast on the latest updates/ dynamics in their respective areas and working out strategies to stay ahead of the competition. § Identifying key In-licensing (& Out-licensing) opportunities and analyzing their potential through financial modelling and forecasting § To monitor latest research & trials, to generate opportunities for complex generics [NDDS] and enhanced generics [505(b)2] § To handle IP matters related to Product Grids of Multiple markets at various stages i.e. development, filing & commercial launch. § To create detailed business strategies for NCE-1/ Day-181 development candidates taking calculated decisions on VI Vs external APIs and IH Vs CMO manufacturing considering project costs and timelines.
