Head of Financial Control

Job Description : HEAD OF FINANCIAL CONTROL PERTH AUSTRALIA Develop & evolve best in class function. Circa $250,000 - $280,000 + Super + Bonus. This very established, Perth founded business has developed into a multinational organization with operations in the US, Europe, and Asia. They occupy a strong market position within their sector and are on a continuing growth curve. As part of the ongoing expansion a stellar Director – Financial Control is needed, reporting to the CFO. The short-term focus is to develop and evolve the local team to create best-in-class outputs. To refine and improve the systems, data, and reporting outputs to create a high-class control infrastructure. You will also be tasked with building out some of the international functions as well as future proofing the business from a systems/ERP perspective. This position will give you board exposure as well as experience across tax, treasury, debt management and interaction with key external parties. Medium/long term this role is about supporting and contributing to the growth of the business and developing into a 2iC to the CFO, enabling them to elevate their role. There is a clear mandate for growth and a future liquidity event which you will play a key part in. You should be a CA/CPA with a background in Audit from the ‘Big4’, or ‘Tier2’ firms having worked across large complex clients (ASX & MNCs). You will currently be a Group Reporting Manager, Senior Finance Manager or existing Financial Controller who is seeking greater ownership, leadership, and an opportunity to develop your skillsets in a growth environment. You will have operated within an MNC, Local HQ or large complex, international business ideally within a group setting. You have strong stakeholder and management experience with a global outlook. This is a rarity in the Perth market, as it doesn’t sit within the resources and mining sectors.
