General Manager Finance

Job Description : GM FINANCE CAMBODIA Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia About the company and Role: Mango Finance Plc is a digital lender based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia capitalized by an investment from Vipar Auto FZCO, Dubai. The company has received a license from National Bank of Cambodia in 2021 and has achieved breakeven within the first year of operations. The company has access to over to over 70,000 customers and the opportunity to digitally lend to them. Mango Finance currently employs 100 employees and is supported by the parent company which has over 500 employees. Vipar is a diversified business group and the official distributer/sourcing partner of Bajaj Auto Ltd in Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, China and many parts of Africa. The group is also sole distributer of CEAT tires, Metro Tires, HPCL, Bajaj-Gulf, Eureka Forbes, Toshiba. The paid up capital of our company is USD 10Mn with another 10Mn secured for future expansion. Salary: Competitive Responsibilities and requirement · Provide leadership, direction, and management of Operations and IT. · Responsible for channel management and field team management · Responsible to deliver targets for growth and collection. · Maintain portfolio growth whilst keeping bad debts low. · Be responsible for an effective overall management of the Operations of Mango finance, which include all operating regions and lending verticals. · Coordinate with digital/IT team. This includes giving the correct front-end requirements to the team. · Effectively manage the entire loan life cycle from collection to disbursement. · Provide strategic recommendation to CEO/MD and members of the executive management · Manage and review the credit policies and operating manuals of the lending business. · Advise on long term business and financial planning · Manage credit officers and risk management teams. · Formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives · Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team · Oversee the issuance of financial information. · Provide guidance and support to Head of Operations on overall management of operational activities, e.g. effective management, staff capacity development, credit and delinquency management, internal audit. · Review HR requirement and work with HR team in order to fill positions. · Report financial results to the board of directors · Assess and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile · Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies Requirement: · At least 10 year experience related to finance. · Must have worked in lending role either at Non-Bank financial company, Microfinance company, fintech, or leasing company. · Must have experiences in working in multiple countries. · To move to Cambodia with Family minimum 2 years contract.
