Job Description : FC TOGO 12+ years experience The Finance Controller is a key member of the finance team responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of an organization. The primary role of the Finance Controller is to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial information, as well as to provide strategic financial guidance to senior management. This position requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles and practices, and the ability to lead and motivate a team. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Planning and Analysis: - Develop and manage the annual budgeting process. - Prepare financial forecasts, analyze variances, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance. - Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. 2. Financial Reporting: - Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and external stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. 3. Internal Controls and Compliance: - Establish and maintain a system of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy. - Monitor compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant laws and regulations. - Coordinate internal and external audits and implement recommendations. 4. Cash Flow Management: - Manage cash flow and liquidity, including monitoring cash balances, forecasting cash needs, and optimizing working capital. - Develop and implement cash management strategies to maximize returns on surplus funds. 5. Financial Risk Management: - Identify and assess financial risks, such as currency exchange rates, interest rates, and credit risks. - Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including hedging and insurance. 6. Team Leadership: - Provide leadership, guidance, and development opportunities to the finance team. - Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
