Business Head

Job Description : BUSINESS HEAD NIGERIA Business Head for the group’s malting & malt derivatives business. He should be a Techno – Commercial resource with good innovation & networking skills, not only to develop new applications and new customers but also build a sustainable business partnership He also must have owned & driven P&L of a similar food derivative business. Proven credentials for this is a must. Responsibilities The role envisages heading and driving the Malt Extraction & derivatives business of the Group “end to end”, that includes all aspects of Sales & marketing strategy Operations control, Procurement of raw material, Production planning and monitoring, cost efficacy and P&L etc. The primary objective of the role is to turn around the business to double it’s average revenue & steer it to be the market leader in Nigeria in next two years. This position will have the overall accountability to: • To prepare a 2 year road map to grow the business – especially new applications. • Conceiving an aggressive long term growth plan thereafter. • Make, own and drive the business plan so that the Business grows as per the aforesaid long-term plan. • Prepare Annual Operating plans year on year to ensure that growth actually happens. • Lead and drive the team SM&MDL and inculcate high degree of motivation, sense of belonging. • To ensure adequate training is imparted to the local staff so that their skills remain updated and to train and mentor them. Qualifications Degree/ Diploma in Food Technology. A certificate course in Brewing / malting will be an added advantage. He should have about 25 years of experience of which, 5 years should be as Business Head of a Malt derivative Industry. Experience of production of various flours like sorghum, maize and soya will be an added advantage. Must have driven sales & marketing function & have been responsible for delivery of P&L of a company of similar size (sales of at least 20M US$ pa) Nigerian / African exposure/knowledge is essential.
