Job Description : EXPORT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER NIGERIA Driving the Export Agenda of SONA group – End to End. The incumbent will be initially based out of Ota and subsequently to travel to potential ECOWAS countries. His function is to understand the Market demand &Customer mindset vis-a-viz our products quality & potential to prepare a blue print & Export Budget. Preparing a SKU wise Potential Customer list and start visiting the customers to obtain Export orders. Will report to Group Managing Director administratively & also to Grp. Chairman in a matrix reporting structure. This position will have the overall accountability to: · Understand the demand for Sona group products in the ECOWAS market. · Suggest Product modifications / quality improvements, as required · Prepare list of potential customers and pitch our products · Develop the Export market · Visit potential customers and obtain orders · Co-ordinate with production team to produce as per specs · Execute despatch & follow up until delivered. • Communication skills. • Liaison and networking skills • Interpersonal skills • Planning & organising skills. • Cost Consciousness • Ready to travel 15 days in a month to west African Countries. • Sales & marketing skills. • Export activity of FMCG products and plastics to West African Countries like Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal etc. • Understanding product specs. • Experience in handling Exports function in a any FMCG company/ Industry. • Full knowledge of French language This is a bachelor status appointment.
