Job Description : Position: Director Construction (South Asia Head)-EPC Oil & Gas Reporting : President Operation Qualification: BE/BTech –Civil/Mechanical Exp: 20yrs+ Domestic, India & International Construction Ø Proven leadership in Project construction proposal and estimation, sub contract management and construction home office management. Ø Initiated number of value added expertise in proposals to improve cost competitiveness and increase strike rate. Ø Proven leadership attributes to establish and maintain effective and harmonious project construction teams, with all those involved in the project. Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients. Ø Established centralised sub-contracting management in department for good construction competitiveness by systematic negotiation with Vendor. Ø Ability to do multi-task and work both in a team and independently. As leader of the project drive execution and successful project implementation ensuring construction coordination, HSE ,quality management , budget planning and estimation. Capable to meet assigned financial targets. Ø Excellent organizational and time-management skills to organize, supervise and coordinate the company’s projects and the on-site staff in order to complete the work on schedule, within the budget and to the quality of workmanship specified. Ø Assess and reviews the projects Key Performance Indicators to determine accurate status of projects, making tactical decisions for allocating resources, and assigning staff requirement to maintain projects on target. Ø Have a complete and thorough knowledge and understanding of the Contract Documents, the General Contract and the Subcontracts, and their administration, including notice requirements and change control. Well-versed in all construction methodologies and the objectives of projects. Ø Knowledge of all phases of construction operations and process relating to field activities of engineering disciplines, construction technologies and jobsite management, including quality control and project control mechanisms Ø Knowledge of the industry ES&H procedures and standard construction environmental control planning. Ø Understand the basic concepts / construction methods / processes for construction activities. Ø Outstanding negotiation skills for Subcontractor management in multi-disciplinary working, coordination for interface management for smooth functioning of project implementation Ø Ability to provide effective and practical construction input into the various phases of the EPC project to ensure constructability aspects of project execution are adequately considered. Ø Promote project HSE requirements to meet compliance with wider construction regulations. Ensured that construction hazards and risks are fully considered and that the appropriate mitigation actions are implemented during the project execution phase. Ø Promote strategic oversight for QA/QC functions to implement and maintain quality management systems (QMS) as per agreed contracts Ø Provide notification of any potential commercial risk or opportunity to the Project Director for further action. Ø Drive entire site team in pre-commissioning and commissioning of the plant Ø Closure and final handover of project to client
