Financial Controller

Overseeing the management and financial accounts teams, driving a culture of continuous improvement. • Leadership and development of a team of 5 management accountants. • Delivering the month end management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations and timely P&Ls. • Own the forecasts for capital expenditure and corporate cost centres. • Continuous improvement of finance and operational systems. • Ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely statutory accounts, external audit compliance and implementation of relevant accounting standards and financial controls. • Monitoring and development of the internal financial and operational control environment, ensuring that minimum control standards, documentation and systems are in place to ensure that accurate daily and month end reporting from different reporting platforms can be achieved. • Delivering working capital, cash flow and balance sheet forecasting and reporting. • Fully ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a strong reporting background & minimum 15 years’ PQE. • Experience of team management, development and growth ideally within an international business. • The ability to interpret financials into meaningful insights, to inform decision making and deliver against key metrics. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Strong technical accounting knowledge. • A proven background of driving continuous improvements across processes and systems within a fast-paced and high growth business.
