Job Description : PROCUREMENT HEAD UK Open to candidates worldwide provide they are eligible to apply for UK work visa a manufacturer with double digit growth are looking for a forward thinking and innovative Head of Procurement professional to create a robust and best in class procurement function and pick up the operational day to day based in the north west are looking for a strategic procurement professional to lead the procurement function of this small procurement department. This role will be a stand-alone role but will support and work closely with senior management, so would suit a self-motivated individual You will have experience of delivering robust strategies, implementing best practice, and ensuring the organisation benefits from value for money without compromising service levels across all spend for goods and services. Key areas of spend will fall within direct and indirect categories You will lead on all critical procurement projects, working in conjunction with individual stakeholders You will need to be: ~Energetic, driven and forward thinking individual ~Ability to act as an advisor within a small but critical function ~CIPS qualified ~Strong negotiator and ability to engage and advise senior stakeholders ~Contracts management and effective Supplier Relationship Management skills ~Proven commercial acumen ~Proven track record of implementing procurement strategies and innovative solutions ~Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment ~Self-starter with gravitas and presence
