Supply Chain Excellence Manager

Job Description : SUPPLY CHAIN EXCELLENCE MANAGER SPAIN Supply Chain Excellence Manager role has become available at an important multinational Pharmaceutical Company in Barcelona. In this strategic position, as a Supply Chain Excellence Manager you will report to the Global Supply Chain Director and will drive the operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the entire supply chain function in order to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Key functions: Identify and implement process improvements to increase supply chain efficiency and improve delivery accuracy Look for and fix Supply Chain related pain points among Supply Chain stakeholders Lead new processes and improved implementations along the Supply Chain Manage Supply Chain Digitalization initiatives to improve Supply Chain processes with IT support Accountable for running S&OP and S&OE processes Execute standardized planning/S&OP processes, governance & ways of working to drive efficient outcomes Lead process onboarding of additional departments or new people involved in SC processes Guarantee that S&OP, S&OE and agreed action plans run smoothly and take actions if something fails Monitor SC process to ensure there are no flaws or divergences with respect to established policies KPI and Supply Chain Performance Monitor Lead data gathering and KPI reporting initiatives to align with Supply Chain monitoring needs and ensure data quality reliability Drive accountability and process improvement based on key performance metrics such as OTIF, inventory days, cost to serve, etc. With a degree in Engineering and a master's degree in supply chain management or Logistics, you will provide more than 15 years of experience in Supply Chain management, continuous improvement and operational excellence in pharmaceutical or FMCG companies. It is mandatory to speak fluent English and Spanish and to be SAP key user. It is a plus to have APICS Certification or PMP Certifications or Continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen etc) certifications. To successfully fulfill the role, you will have to demonstrate success in driving supply chain process improvements and cost optimization initiatives, in-depth knowledge of supply chain best practices, technologies, and industry trends, and proven project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
