Job Description : RISK MANAGER DUBAI 10+ years experience Responsible for the daily surveillance of trading activity related to commercial trading activity. Work involves all aspects of deal life cycle with close attention to commercial operational areas. Knowledge of how commercial business happens, the trading dynamics for Derivatives, Options and Physical Oil markets, as well as the deal life cycle will be critical to applying any interpretative guidance regarding commercial compliance. Knowledge of instrument cash flows will be a critical part of transaction analysis. Knowledge of, and application awareness regarding relevant regulatory “rules of engagement” will be critical to success. Although a large part of day involves managing a suite of analytical reports; innovation and qualitative management skills are a must. A significant portion of the opportunity involves developing analytics given the fast paced and time sensitive environment. Quantitative analysis will include identifying data anomalies, patterns or co-occurrences back to source data, improving compliance learnings and remediation.
