Job Description : HEAD OF DATA UK Open to all candidates who are eligible to work in the UK or secure working rights here Head of Data that will be heading up an entire data team of Scientists, Analysts, Developers and Architects. You will be working alongside the CDO to ensure strategic insights are delivered to the executive team. You'll need to be solution focused, full of initiative and have excellent stakeholder management skills. • Defining strategic goals to be achieved to manage, analyse and act upon. • End to end delivery of the centralised data architecture platform. • Creating and setting up the operating model once the platform delivery is complete. • Owning the technical data strategy from both front and back-end technology. • Defining the target operating model, the framework to implement the strategy through process, people, delivery model, technology, KPIs and governance. With specific focus on data quality, validation and governance. • Participating in daily scrum meetings and coordinating with the product/process owners to review progress on data related tasks. • Working closely with the Reporting Leads / External System Integration Partners to analyse and understand data structures. • Strong background in Power BI, SQL and Azure (other technical skills will be considered). • Strong business partnering skills, dealing with all levels of stakeholders. • Experience managing a team of Scientists, Analysts, Developers and Architects. • Previous experience in delivery and maintenance of data platforms / maintenance.
