Regional Chief Financial Officer

Job Description : RTEGIONAL CFO ZIMBABWE 25+ years experience, regional experience is mandatory Leads financial planning in support of the strategic goals and objectives of each country in the region. Adhere to financial policies, regulations, and procedures applicable to the management, growth and sustainability of each OPCO in order to maintain good governance. Ensure that each OPCO is in compliance with obligations under law and other relevant public-sector policies, regulations and accounting standards. Work with each OPCO in the region to provide timely insight and information for sound decision-making on contracts, pricing and new revenue streams. Prepares and executes sound financial plans to ensure each OPCO meets its long-term strategic goals and objectives for up to 3- 5 years. Sets the regional Financial Strategy and approach with the heads of finance from each country based on the Corporate Strategic Plan as duly approved by the Board. Implements the Financial Strategies, Policies and Procedures to ensure the achievement of financial medium and short-term targets and goals for each OPCO. Monitors each regional country’s performance against the budget and ensures that budget variances have been addressed with the Line Management. Reviews financial accounts for all OPCOs in Southern Africa. Oversees, the Internal and External Auditors’ recommendations, and checks that these have been addressed. Reviews payments and interbank transactions for Southern Africa. Ensures OPCO finance teams get closer to the post-sales functions of customer onboarding, service delivery, support, and customer success by continuously managing customer relationships through visibility in billing and collections, contracts, quotations and proposals. Participates in key decisions as a member of the Group executive team, more so as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational models. Maintains in-depth relationships with all Executives of the Group. Key Skills: Ability to develop and implement the long, medium and short-term strategy and plan for the organisation. Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to present complex situations. Ability to analyse and solve complex problems to achieve the correct outcomes. Ability to negotiate, interact and achieve targets Regionally. Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities. Qualifications: Degree in Accounting or Finance. Qualified Chartered Accountant. MBA is an added advantage.
