Job Description : GROUP FC NETHERLANDS Open to overseas candidates provided they match EU visa eligibility As Group Financial Controller you are responsible for reliable and timely financial reporting for the NedZink Group. Accurate and complete recording of costs and revenues, correct valuation of assets and liabilities in accordance with applicable accounting principles and group procedures and agreements. NedZink Group is an international, exciting scale-up in the metal industry, with headquarters in the Netherlands (Budel). An investment program has recently been completed, allowing the company to increase output by 50%. Together with other members of the international team, as a Financial Controller you fulfill a crucial role for the entire financial business operations. The position is based in NedZink's global headquarters in Budel-Dorplein, Netherlands, and reports directly to the CFO of the NedZink Group. In addition, you have the ambition to grow into a management position within 2-5 years. As Group Financial Controller : • You manage the overall accounting and period closing (including: preparing management reports, reconciling balance sheet items, processing and reporting) of the companies within the NedZink group; • Implement a risk control framework, monitor the effectiveness of controls and follow up on deviations when applicable; • You take on an expert role with a focus on new and more complex questions/activities within finance and accounting; • You are the main point of contact for financial accounting matters within the NedZink group for shareholders; • Manage the (consolidated) annual accounts for the NedZink group. In this context, you prepare the balance sheet, profit and loss account and explanatory notes and act as the primary contact person for the company's accounting firm; • Handle your tax matters within the company; • Analyze your financial data and provide explanations for developments; • Prepare (ad hoc) reports and overviews for management and cost owners. • Completed at least a Master's degree in Business Economics, Accountancy or a similar field, additional RA/RC training is an advantage; • At least 15 years of experience in a production environment; • Be able to apply reporting standards and (group) guidelines; • Expert in setting up and using ERP systems and affinity with automation/IT (process thinking); • Communicative skills, analytically strong and accurate; • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
