Job Description : PROJECT PROCUREMENT MANAGER CAPEX, THAILAND ( OPEN TO EXPATS) An exciting Project Procurement Manager - CAPEX(x1 vacancy) has just become available at a food ingredients manufacturer based in Bangkok then will be based in northeastern area. Reporting directly to Project Director, this is a role for a procurement professionals experienced CAPEX spending, project management in manufacturing environment who thrives on challenging opportunity. About The Project Procurement Manager - CAPEX Role: In this business-critical role, you will play a vital role leading end to end project procurement activities including but not limited to sourcing, vendors, qualifications, negotiation to get the best terms and conditions, evaluation, supplier selection, contracts execution and payment as agreed terms. This role offers a competitive remuneration package with performance bonus at the end of contract. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the procurement activities are compliance with policies, procedures, and strategy Develop project procurement plan, including strategy, procedure/approved supplier list along with project engineering team and align with the overall project requirements Develop the approved vendor list including qualification of new vendors/contractors with the project team engagement and alignment Regular review of project schedules and expedite suppliers timely deliverable to meet overall project time-lines and within budget Collaborate with the project engineering team and consultants To succeed in this role, you must have the ability to lead and unite effectively and possess a keen understanding of manufacturing operations in dynamic working environment. Bachelor's degree with Engineering, Business Administration background, MBA degree is a plus At least 12 years' experience in project and engineering procurement. chemical and food industries experience would be desirable Technical knowledge in civil, electrical, mechanical, instrument etc. Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to work on various initiatives Good command of Thai and English is a must due to the nature of its business Highly effective interpersonal communication and influencing skills
