Senior FP & A Manager

Job Description : ENIOR FP & A MANAGER DUBAI global giant within the FMCG space to recruit a Senior Manager FP&A. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be in charge of managing the full P&L responsibility of Business Units across the Middle East & Africa. You will also liase closely with BU leads & teams, ensuring all forecasting, analytics and reporting is done in close collaboration with the team. Financial Planning & Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual operating budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Analyze financial data, identify trends, and present actionable insights to senior management, enabling data-driven decision-making. Conduct variance analysis, investigating discrepancies between actual results and budget/forecasts, and provide recommendations to address any deviations. Forecasting and Reporting: Manage the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports to executive leadership and stakeholders. Develop and maintain financial models that support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and risk assessment. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance and provide performance evaluations against targets. Budget Management: Coordinate the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and adherence to financial policies and guidelines. Monitor budget execution and work with department heads to maintain spending discipline and achieve budgetary objectives. Strategic Decision Support: Collaborate with the executive team to evaluate potential business initiatives, investment opportunities, and strategic partnerships. Perform comprehensive financial analysis to assess the financial viability and potential risks of proposed projects. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts, fostering a high-performance culture and encouraging professional growth. Provide guidance, support, and ongoing training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Proven experience (10+ years) in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a managerial capacity. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively. Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and budget management. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of successfully managing and developing a team. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial management software, and ERP systems. Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
