Job Description : REGIONAL FINANCE DIRECTOR SINGAPORE at a leading smart energy solutions firm with a strong worldwide presence. Reporting to the Global HQ, the Regional Finance Director will be playing a critical role in the business and assume the full accounting spectrum of duties for APAC region. You will be working closely with business stakeholders to drive our regional business growth, playing an important role in supporting commercial decisions by providing insightful financial advice. Provide the financial insights necessary for business growth, from an investment, costing, pricing, and margin perspective Manage and lead the finance team to ensure effective day-to-day operation of overall accounting and financial functions Identify, develop and enforce continuous improvement on financial and operations internal controls, policies and procedures Understand the business and be able to analyse, define, and articulate his or her recommendations to business partners and senior leadership Make recommendations for changes as needed and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and establishes the proper techniques to discover and prevent fraud Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance Work with Audit, Tax and Treasury Managers in HQ to ensure overall coordination of all financial accounting activities through annual reports The ideal candidate possesses leadership capabilities, solid operational and technical accounting and financial background and works proactively to drive results. This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity and is action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment. Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience, preferably with APAC financial director experience Possess at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent Able to work under pressure and possess change management mindset Good interpersonal skills, to effectively handle stakeholders from varied levels Strong financial analytical skills Proficiency in English and Mandarin, both verbal and written, as incumbent will be required to handle documentation in both languages
