Finance Head

Job Description : FINANCE HEAD MALAYSIA As you report to the Country Manager, your role will involve overseeing the accounting and finance department. Your responsibility will be to strike a balance between enforcing governance standards and fostering business growth. Lead the finance team effectively by setting clear goals, coaching, supporting, monitoring, and ensuring alignment with the company's values to maximise team performance Assist the Company Manager in financial matters, including strategic planning, budgeting, and policy implementation to achieve company objectives Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with corporate policies and local regulations to produce standardised financial statements Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) Manage the submission of corporate tax returns to meet statutory requirements Establish and maintain internal control procedures by reviewing authority schedules and auditors' feedback to uphold financial discipline Ensure timely and secure credit management and collection in alignment with the company's business strategy and credit risk management Implement corporate governance practices, risk management, and internal controls to maintain ethical and compliant operations To succeed in this role, you should have strong leadership skills that enable you to lead and inspire your team, with the goal of enhancing the finance department. Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance A minimum of 20 years of total work experience in a mix of external audit and MNCs Detail-oriented and is able to business partner the senior management to spur the growth of the company Strong communication skills and a demonstrated commercial mindset are highly valued
