Regional Travel Manager

Job Description : REGIONAL TRAVEL MANAGER UGANDA Role & responsibilities Responsible for new business development - approaching corporate, Government and channel partners · Drive Operations · Research & identification of prospects, Pipeline building, drawing sales strategies, solution finding, commercial negotiation, contract closure · Competition mapping and counter strategies deployment · Effective usage of CRM and internal reporting · Attends and participates in trade shows, industry meetings, sales efforts, bid presentations, and sales calls to promote · Perform related duties and responsibilities as required Preferred candidate profile Minimum of 8 years experience in Hospitality, Tourism Sales, Operations, Sales Management in hotel industry, destination management organization, tourism-related entity or appropriate field. • Managed an assigned geographic sales area to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives. · Having knack of creating relationship with right audience in HR / SCM / Administration / Finance. · Must show pattern of significant growth and consistency in prior work experience. · Education and experience may be evaluated to meet minimum requirements · Well-furnished bachelor accommodation on a sharing basis. · Indian food · Travel arrangement (Office to Home and Home to Office) · Air Tickets ( At the time of joining and for return after completion of 24 months service) · General medical facility.
