As Financial Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the businesses are financially healthy and making great strategic decisions. You will be responsible for providing expert advice on all financial aspects of the businesses, including financial controls, reporting, budgeting, and analysis. You will work closely with the Managing Directors of both businesses, as well as other colleagues across the group. One of the key responsibilities of the role will be to ensure that accurate financial information is available to support key business and commercial decision-making. This will require you to be able to quickly understand complex systems and data and provide clear guidance to others. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all financial and compliance information is available to make timely commercial decisions. To be successful in this role, you should have a recognised International accounting qualification, along with relevant commercial experience. You should be able to build strong, constructive, and open working relationships across the wider group and externally where necessary. You should be a logical thinker, with a commercial and straightforward approach to problem-solving. You should also have strong analytical skills and be able to analyse data to give clarity and clear guidance within your area of expertise.
