Job Description : COMMERCIAL MANAGER NIGERIA FOR BEVERAGE DISTRIBUTION COMPANY 12+ years experience The Commercial Manager is responsible for the development and growth of the Ledrop portfolio through the implementation of the strategy outlined by Ledrop Group. Key skills required: Sales, marketing, brand building, operational/ field, and reporting skills. A clear understanding of the sales process and a solid sales technique in order to achieve targets. Ability to work autonomously, self-motivated who understands how to take the initiative but also must work well with others within a small team Graduate with relevant Business Development, or Sales & Marketing qualifications or Work Experience Minimum of 4 years experience in a mid to senior marketing/ sales role Fluent in English – spoken and written Good planning and organization skills Creative thinker – Entrepreneurial Attention to detail Natural interest in the hospitality industry and social media International mindset and experience of working with International brands Understanding of Superior Quality Brands and the emerging African consumer & and luxury brands Computer literate, proficient with (MS Office) and building databases An excellent presenter with controlled communication Compiling Monthly Ledrop Report for Ghana Identifying key issues Market conditions Review Action plans and promotional/ marketing activity (including photos) Report on Cross-Border Trading Activity Issues/Opportunities for Business Development Competitive Overview – Pricing, activity, etc. Consumer research/insights/recommendations What Works/What doesn’t work + key learnings and recommendations Partner Bar status and evaluation Promotion Team activity - Drinks promotions - mechanics, outlets, targets, results Route to Market/CRM Analytical abilities for strategic insights on business positioning and growth opportunities
