Business Head 

Job Description : Business Head (Industrial Division) for a family holding group in Oman. Location – Oman - Must be willing to relocate (the company will support in relocation to Oman and provide visa, flights a hotel stay on arrival etc) Salary – 2,400 - 2,800 OMR/month + Annual bonus + benefits Required Knowledge/Experience: · Post graduate in Sales/Marketing/Business Administration · Minimum 10 years’ experience in managing and leading teams especially in Industrial/Lubricant products · Candidate with GCC experience preferred · Excellent Sales skills, analytical skills, problem solving skills, and team player · Intermediate level Excel skills and adept at handling/working with large data sets · Excellent presentation & communication skills Key Responsibilities: · Lead the sales operations team to deliver budgeted top line and bottom line numbers. Division at the current stage is focused primarily on Lubricants (Gulf Oil brand) business and eventually the Business Head is expected to develop the Divisional portfolio to include Tyres and batteries · Developing and executing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and building relationships with key customers in B2B and B2C segments · Prepare annual budgets covering detailed volume estimates, headcount allocation, expenses on overheads, capital expenditure projections etc · Conduct periodic reviews of performance against plan and re-establish forecasts · Manage negotiations with Business Partners (Gulf Oil, others if any) on core issues like gross margins, pricing structure, advertising and promotional expenses · Directly responsible for controlling inventory through hands-on forecasting and ordering keeping in mind lead times variances, stockholding, payment terms etc · Develop strategic customer-specific category plans focusing on the areas of category assessment, product rationalization, and promotion analysis · Establish and implement relevant organization structure; recruitment of staff, overseeing their training and development and recommend promotion or termination of staff · Conduct regular team meetings to ensure that the sales team is continuously updated on progress against plan, set period objectives, obtain feedback and communicate / Cascade Company highlights · Lead sales team towards achievement of budgeted sales targets delivering net profit through optimum use of overheads and efficient management of working capital · Operational control on expenses, stock, debtors, creditors, exceptional customer transactions · Conduct appraisals for direct reports and monitor appraisals of all staff in the division, succession planning, establishing training needs and plans to address these needs · Educate and develop team members on the Selling skills, principles and tools for effective planning, negotiation skills, analysis of MIS related to P&L
