Project Manager

Job Description : PROJECT MANAGER NIGERIA - Collaborate with management, engineers and supervisors to execute the projects - Help in negotiating contracts with external vendors - Help in Obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities - Determine needed resources (manpower,equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations - Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met - Help in acquiring equipment and material and monitor stocks to handle timelyinadequacies - Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities - Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed - Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports - Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues Requirements for Construction Project Manager - Candidate must have Bachelor of Civil Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering (B.Tech) - Proven Experience as a construction project manager - Experience in construction of bridges, highway roads is mandatory. - PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage - 10-15 years of experience in project management in the construction sector. - Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings - Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles - Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs - High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and - Strong leadership and management skills Salary 3000USD-5000USD depending on experience. status- Bachelor.
