Job Description : QUALITY ENGINEER NIGERIA FOR OIL AND GAS 12+ years experience 1. Review project specifications, drawings, and quality control procedures to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards. 2. Develop and implement quality control plans specific to cryogenic tanks, spheres, and piping construction projects. 3. Conduct inspections and audits to ensure that construction activities, materials, and equipment meet quality requirements. 4. Perform welding inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) to verify the quality of welds and materials. 5. Monitor and control the documentation of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and certifications. 6. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality-related issues and provide technical support and guidance. 7. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence. 8. Participate in quality meetings, project reviews, and audits to provide input on quality-related matters.
