Job Description : DIRECTOR OF GLOBAL OPERATIONS MILAN, ITALY Candidate must be eligible to work in the EU a worldwide company which operates in the FMGC sector. The company focuses on a wide range of customized products and has numerous sites across the globe. We are looking for the Director of Global Operations which will be located in Milan. Lead, direct, develop and control the company's global operations resources within the highest level of the organization to ensure the short and long-term strategic objectives of the organization are met Leads, directs, evaluates and develops the global operations function and teams of professionals in order to meet established targets and standards Takes strategic planning and decision-making at organization level to develop and implements operations strategies that are aligned with the organization business objectives, and translates these into annual plans Leads the function to achieve its short and long term objectives as set by the overall business plan Leads the development and implementation of global operations organization, policies, procedures, processes, and compliance activities to ensure that all organization's objectives are met globally Ensures the preparation of strategies, operating budgets and proposals for capital investments, technology, equipment, systems, or other assets and resources Ensures that all HSEQ requirements are developed and implemented at expected level within the company Ensures efficient world class operations within safety, quality, manufacturing efficiencies, demand and supply management and technology in line with the annual plan and long term strategy of the organization University Degree M.sc (Engineering field), additional MBA degree is preferred At least 12-years' experience in similar roles Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong analytical skills and problem-solving attitude Excellent ability to work in teams and influence within a matrix context globally Excellent change management skills Availability to travel globally up to 30% of the time Fluent in English, both verbal and written, Italian plus any other language is a plus
