Operations Director

Job Description : OPERATIONS DIRECTOR QATAR As Operations Director for the group you have full P&L Responsibility for 4 LIVE Building Projects in the Gulf. These projects are based across Qatar, Oman & the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You will have a track record as Project Director , Operations Director or Country Manager handling multiple buildings projects or a large Project (1.5 Billion AED/ QAR). You must we repeat must have a track record in the region for Main Contractors. Our client is not interested in those with a track record for Developers or Consultants. Do you see problems before they occur ? Aware how to get a project back on track and how to hit milestones and the critical path? Comfortable at building meaningful relationships with clients and your project teams. You must have a track record in the Gulf for Main Contractors. You will have your finger on the pulse when it comes to delays, EOTS, Contractual disputes , quality issues and safety. Do you have clear CONFIDENCE and client facing skills to add value at pre or post contract? Based from the Head Office in Doha you will be expected to travel as and when to satisfy client needs and handle project success. You will have 2 Project Directors reporting into you and 2 Senior Project Managers each handling live projects currently underway. Do you match the following Track record in the MENA region for Tier 1 & Reputable Main Contractors Aged between 40-60 Years of Age (client request) Degree Educated at a Western University – Civil Engineering or Construction Management Fluent English / Mother tongue Track record managing teams of people Clear History of 400 Million AED ++ Projects Solid Contractual , commercial & engineering awareness It is a 6 Day Working Week Culture Following is provided for the right character Family Status Medical & Flights Car fully expensed Lump Sum Package of 80-110,000 QAR Per Month All hotels, flights & transport provided for work % Bonus for Top Level Success upon final accounts & happy clients
