Finance Director

Job Description : FINANCE DIRECTOR DUBAI Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Supervise and lead the finance and accounting team ( internal and external), including training and development across all companies. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Financial Planning and Analysis: Support in preparing and managing the organization's financial budgets and forecasts. Support in providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts and recommend corrective actions as needed. Financial Reporting: Support in preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or relevant accounting standards. Internal Controls: Support in enhancing and maintaining robust internal controls to safeguard company assets. Support in implementing and monitoring financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. Support in conducting regular internal audits to identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements. Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to meet operational requirements. Optimize cash management strategies and ensure efficient use of funds. Regulatory Compliance: Support in ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements. Coordinate with external auditors and oversee the annual audit process. Provide accurate and complete financial data for tax filing purposes. Technology and Systems: Oversee financial systems implementation and optimization. Leverage financial software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Professional certification such as CA, CPA, CMA, or ACCA is highly desirable. 15+ years of progressive experience in financial management, accounting, and control roles. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal controls. Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Salary 30-35k aed pcm + Benefits
