Job Description : FINANCE MANAGER MANCHESTER UK Candidate must have working rights in the UK or be eligible to apply for same 10+ years experience one of the North's largest travel companies, as they look for a Finance Manager to join their incredibly successful business. Based in Manchester City Centre, this highly regarded travel company are looking for a Finance Manager to help secure the continued success of both the finance team and the overall business. In reporting to the Financial Controller, your role will focus on developing and delivering robust control environment and key finance processes, ensuring maximum efficiency, to minimise risk of financial fraud or error to ensure best in class systems and control. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Responsible for all aspects of the periodic financial reporting to the stakeholders ensuring accurate and timely submissions. Developing and leading part of the finance function, ensuring their development and mentoring junior staff members. Taking ownership to ensure cost control and financial objective achievement through the provision of accurate and timely financial information. Support in the development of accurate balance sheet and cash-flow budgeting and forecast models. Preparing detailed variance analysis on budget / forecast for presentation to executive finance teams both internally and externally. Proactively identify opportunities for efficiency and make recommendations, both internally and within the wider industry. Effectively communicate with stakeholders from various divisions within the company. Be an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant. Experience of modelling data to provide management information to help support decision making. Have a sound knowledge of current accounting practices and processes including knowledge of IFRS and FRS102. Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Be able to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
