Job Description : Buying Head - Travel Retail Location: Delhi, India Salary Range: Upto 70 LPA Experience :- Gifting , Souvenir and Non-apparel Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement a comprehensive buying strategy for travel retail in Delhi. - Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and pricing. - Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to make informed buying decisions. - Continuously monitor and manage inventory levels to optimize stock turnover and minimize excess stock. - Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop promotional strategies that drive sales and enhance brand visibility. - Lead a team of buyers and merchandisers, providing guidance and support to achieve department goals. - Track and report on key performance metrics related to sales, inventory, and product assortment. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Merchandising, or a related field. MBA is a plus. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in buying and merchandising, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within travel retail or a related industry. - Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.
