Senior Internal Audit Director

Job Description : SENIOR INTERNAL AUDIT DIRECTOR UAE to join a well known family business in the UAE. As the Senior Internal Audit Director, you will be responsible for strategic/tactical direction of the Internal Audit Department. Responsibilities: Provide risk management and internal control leadership and support regarding effective operating Oversee all internal audit activity to ensure audit projects, plans, assessments, and regulatory audit requirements meet the requirements of the Audit Committee. Leads and reports on the periodic Group wide risk assessments and develop annual internal audit plans focused on financial, compliance, regulatory and reputational risks. Ensures compliance with relevant operational and financial management policies, procedures to ensure adequacy and operational effectiveness of internal controls. Requirements: 15+ years experience CIA, ACA, CPA qualified Experience reporting to Audit Committee. Candidates must be based in UAE and have family group experience.
